Leah's first Christmas!

What a wonderful first Christmas with had with our daughter Leah! I thought she wouldn't be into the whole unwrapping gifts... I was wrong! She really enjoyed it. Actually she enjoyed the paper and boxes more than the toys! Our first stop was my parents, then Bryan's parents. We had a lot of fun! But by the end of the night we were all so tired. Poor Leah didn't have a nap the all day! She did so good! Poor little thing! Here are a few pictures of the day!

So here we are! Almost Christmas... Wow the year has went by so fast. Just seems like yesterday we were bring our little girl home from the hospital. What a blessing that was! One of the best things to ever happen in my life :o) I always thought the best things in life were hanging with my friends and finding the coolest parties... I was one hundred percent wrong... I will forever be thankful to God for the beautiful daughter he gave us to enjoy. Watching her grow these past 10 months has be such a joy! From the precious little infant to the little sweet pea with Mommy's independent attitude! You just can't resists that cute little smile! So on this Christmas it's not going to be about the best games or the nicest clothes... It's going to be about spending time with the people you love and the ones that love you in return! I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! God Bless :o)

Leah and her little red guitar! It was given to here about 2 months ago... and it's still a favorite in the house! When she pushes on the keys that play tunes, she'll look up at me and start to dance! It's so cute to watch her really get into playing with her toys! Thank you to everyone that donates their old toys! Hand me downs are the best!

Buck number 5

If you know Bryan, you know the guy loves to hunt! Every year Bryan and a group of friends go down to a friends cabin to hunt. And every year someone comes home with a new buck! Well this year it was Bryan! So I guess that makes #5 on the wall! I'm just getting tired of seeing bucks! How about a moose, bear, elk, or cougar. Just something different! I guess that's Ohio for ya! Anyways! I was really happy that my sweetie got something the first day out! Mmmm now I want some of that deer jerky!

Sleepless nights

So Bryan and I had another late night with Leah last night. Over the weekend Bryan and I went over to my parents house to watch the UFC fight... Well we didn't end up getting home till around 1:30 a.m. Poor Leah was so tired. She didn't even attempted to wake up as we were bring her in from the ride home. Then didn't get up till 11:00 a.m. that morning. I'm sure we were paying for it last night... I got my first lesson on what happens when you get baby off schedule!

Thankful!

Have you ever met someone special and knew that it was an act of God that they were placed in your life? I know that I have and I will forever be thankful. It was in 2001 that I fell upon the hands of a wonderful doctor. Words could never express how grateful I am to have had him in my life at that very moment. He truly saved my life and I will forever be thankful for him. He is my friend and my forever hero!

Leah's Pumpkin Day!

Hello! So we took Leah to get her first pumpkin this weekend! She didn't really understand what was going on but had a good time with the little boy's that were talking to her! We tried to get a big pumpkin so we could see what she would do when we put her in it! She did like picking the seeds out with the help of grandma! I think we took to long carving! By the time we put her into the pumpkin she wanted out and was look for that bottle!

Baby's First Halloween!

Halloween is coming up and I wanted to post some pictures of Leah's cute little Halloween outfit, that I got her on ebay! I love to get on ebay during the day when I am bored. I need to find a new hobby! I'm hoping to get a sewing machine soon! Then maybe I can make her some cute outfits myself!!!

For Grandpa Evans

Till We Meet Again

We got the dreadful call today letting us know that grandpa has passed away. Bryan's dad got the call last night letting us all know that he was coming to his final hours. It was very sad to know that a good man has passed away, but also comforting to know that he was with all his family when he said his goodbyes. I will miss his good conversations and pretty smile. He is going to be greatly missed. Till we meet again. We love you grandpa Evans.

Grandpa

So we got the news today that grandpa Evans is not doing well. He has been battling lung cancer for some time now. Bryan and I went down last Saturday to let him visit with Leah. The trip down was really beautiful. I just wish it was to see a well grandpa. I have been married to Bryan for 5 years, and in that five years I feel really blessed to have gotten the time to spend with him! He is such a great person to talk with. Always had a smile on his face! He will be greatly missed.

Yay for Fall!!!

Hello! So we are now getting into fall! So beautiful! Leah is 7 months!!! I can't believe how fast this year has went. It's been such a change becoming a new mommy! I now know what it's like to feel like my mother! HA! Leah started out saying mama and now all she says is dada! What's up with that! She hates being on her tummy so I'm not sure if she will ever crawl. She is getting more into the dogs and pony now! So I'm going to guess that she will like animals. It's so funny... She loves the noggin channel and now she knows moose's voice and starts to look for him when he comes on! It's so cute! I can't help but make fun of Bryan when he starts to break out in random noggin songs!!! You can definitely tell we are parents!
