Leah's new ride!

I have been looking for something fun to put Leah in for our walks. Saturday I finally got my butt to Toys R Us and found this cute car! One of the best things I have bought! Super big hit with Leah!

Do or Don't?

I thought Leah would be ready to make the switch. I had it in my mind "no more bottles" I guess Leah wasn't so ready! We switched to both about 6 or 7 months ago and she has be doing great with the sippy cups. But now that I made the full time switch it seems like she is drinking less milky. What should I do? Should I stick to my guns or give in and let her have her bottles?

Out with the old In with the new!

I decided! I'm going to go ahead and make it official! No more bottles! For the past 6 months we have been using both bottles and sippy cups. I think that I have held on long enough. Now that she is almost 14 months I think it's a good time to make the switch! Aww! My lil girl is growing up!

Just a rockin!

Leah at grandma and grandpa Evan's house!

My $40.00 dollar scare!

As we all know when your child starts to explore safety is sure to follow. I thought I had childproof the living room... Until Leah reassured me that it wasn't. After feeding her breakfast I put her in the living room/toy room! It was fine we were playing and having a good ol' time! Until I came back from the restroom. I saw her and a small bag of spare Christmas lights and a fuse. I freaked like any normal mother would. She also had her fingers in her mouth. No! No! No! as I looked into her mouth. Nothing? I was actually more worried she swallowed a fuse. Not sure what to do I call urgent care. The doctor said it would be a good idea to go ahead and bring her in for a x-ray. Thank god we only live about 3 minutes away! As you all know it wasn't the happiest moment for Leah. She currently doesn't like doctor's from the ear infection experience visit we had. So the poor girl cried through most of the visit. After looking at the x-ray the doctor gave me the clear! No fuse! So I guess my daughter won't light up like a Christmas tree after all!

Mom's Hamburger Casserole!

I just wanted to post one of my favorite recipes with y'all! It's so easy and my husband thinks it's the best! I'm think-in bout cook-in it tomorrow!

1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Over the weekend!

Although we stayed home most of the weekend, we all still got out and enjoyed the nice weather! Leah had a lot of fun! I was just disappointed that she wanted to lay down for a nap in the middle of our 4 wheeler rides! This is new for Leah... She went from taking a 30-40 minute nap a day to taking a 2-3 hour nap a day! Most of the time I don't complain and enjoy the mommy time! Just yesterday I wish she would have stayed up just a lil longer to enjoy the weather! Here are a few pictures!

Not so happy Leah!

I'm always posting all these cute and happy videos and pictures of Leah! I just wanted to show y'all what happens when Leah doesn't get her way! She had mommy's cell phone and mommy took it away. This was the result! Of course she was fine about one minute later! She finally crawled over to me for some cuddle time. Oh the joy of being a mommy! I can't really complain Leah is a awesome baby! God sure did bless me! I wouldn't trade it for the world!
I'm not sure what to do about the slapping yet? I guess now is a good time to read on temperaments!

What a beautiful day!

Even tho I have not been feeling well I forced myself outside today so Leah could enjoy herself! Her are some pictures in the front yard! Don't mind the NO flowers! I haven't got the energy to dig in yet!

Divorce is evil...

I don't understand people anymore... Why are so many people just out for themselves? Sad...
Why is it that when a couple gets a divorce, that either one or both of the couples turn on each other? I see it over and over again. So sad... I understand that a divorce isn't the happiest thing in the world... But my gosh is it worth all the heartache and pain? Really think about it.
Why do THINGS become more important then people... I have seen some couples split and the family still stays really close! Like Demi Moore and Bruce Willis! Even tho it didn't work out they still remained good friends! What lucky children... They didn't see their parents fighting over this and that... Whats his and what hers... When in ten years non of that stuff isn't going to matter anyways... Things break, rust, fade, go out of style... But to keep a good relationship between family is WAY more important then any of that stuff will ever be...
Then you see one or both of the parents go from great parenting skills to what the hell are you thinking? I cannot stand it when they talk bad about the other in front of the children... Or try to turn into the child's friend instead of the parent... Or keep the children from seeing one parent like it's some kind of punishment to the other... Just think the child is getting hurt as well.
I am making a promise to myself right now... That if I ever go through something like this... (Witch I wouldn't ever want to do) That I WILL NOT ACT LIKE THIS...

Some bunny looks cute!
